These cards are easy to make and I've been using them with my students for years. They are, more or less, a set of flashcards, with an added multisensory component (inspired by the Montessori sandpaper letters and numbers). You simply add small dots of liquid glue onto each letter, and when they dry, the glue is clear. This makes the letters have a texture when students trace the letters with their finger. Instructions on how to do this are included in the free printable PDF.
There are lots of ways to use them, but I've most often used the cards for students to practice the letter sounds. You have the student say the letter sound while tracing the letter with a finger.
These cards are free on my Teachers Pay Teachers store.
